Servant of the servant of the servant of……

Hare Krishna,

I’m Radhapriya devi dasi, a disciple of His Divine Grace Sriman Sankarshan das Adhikari (www.backtohome.com). Currently I’m based in Austin, Texas working on my ongoing seva of trying to figure out how to strike a balance in strictly practicing Krishna consciousness without being fanatical or too loose. As with every aspect of Krishna consciousness balance is key, so hence the title of this blog…”trying to reach a state of equilibrium…one day at a time.” I see this blog as my humble attempt to try and post inspirational stuff regarding practicing and propagating Krishna consciousness.

The other day I had a small realization about writing. Basically, we have to be realistic and honest with ourselves and others, I am not a pure devotee, nor have I reached the stage of suddha nama. In fact His Holiness Niranjana Maharaja said , “Until we have reached the stage of suddha nama, we are still struggling sadhakas.” (hence where the URL of this blog came from). Keeping this in mind, I believe that we can learn just as much from our failures as from our successes, if not more. Although, I am full of faults, I am hoping I can share something worthwhile with the larger community, even if it is just what not to do to reach the stage of pure devotional service. In that regard,my motto for the time being is that “failure is the pillar to success.” That being said, if there is anyway I can be of service to you in your spiritual journey please feel free to contact me via commenting here or e-mail at rdd108(at)gmail.com. Thank you very much. Hare Krsna.

I had met Sriman Sankarshan Das Adhikari in Vrindavan India…since then been recieving mails from him.

This topic you have discussed is apprently what I was looking for online.
It is very important to maintain balance between the spiritual and the material life that is to say neitherfanatic nor loose..but whats the best way to work in office where we have so many targets and aspirations.
Will be glad if you can comment on that.

    Hari Bol!!
